Occurrences Salmonella sp. and Escherichia Coli in Bulk and Packaged Chicken Sausages in Surabaya, Indonesia

 Salmonella sp. and Escherichia coli are pathogenic bacteria that cause foodborne diseases often contaminate food harmful to human health. Sales of unpackaged (bulk) sausages accompanied by poor hygiene environmental sanitation conditions have a high potential for contamination. The purpose this study was compare the contamination level bacterial, in bulk packaged chicken as well determine relationship between traders bacterial contamination, sold at traditional markets Surabaya, Indonesia. This research is cross-sectional purposive sampling method. results showed sausage higher (5.98 Log CFU/g) than (4.83 CFU/g). (44.44%) (10.00%) (22.22%) (20.00%). There significant with bacteria, sp., sausages.
